Sight-singing Made Simple

A seminar for singers who wish to enhance their sight-singing skills, this 3-part series of 1 1/2 hr. segments is regularly offered by music minister Maury A. Castro on Saturday mornings throughout the program year. Created by Mr. Castro, this program builds on singers' own vocal range in order to develop the ability to approach any piece of music and sing it without the aid of another singer or instrument. Check back to see when the next class will be offered!
New Stoles for the Chancel Choir

Thanks to the generosity of choir members as well as a memorial bequest, the Chancel Choir now has new stoles! The stoles are cream with gold stripes, and give the choir an exciting new look!
New Booths for the Chancel Choir

Many thanks to Dick Loeffel who built two sets of choir booths for the Chancel Choir. The new booths provide enough space for each member to place their folder, hymnal, and other music in their booth, all in an easily accessible manner. The booths were built in memory of Jane Smith.
The Chancel Choir is a non-auditioned ensemble of singers open to teens and adults that provides choral music for weekly Sunday services as well as special services from September to early June. This choir sings a wide range of repertoire including standard classical anthems, spirituals, hymn arrangements, plainchant, and world music.
Rehearsals: Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Rose Room and Sundays at 9 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
